Insecurities
Last night a breeze of insecurity blew in like the passing wind
Awakening past experiences irrelevant to the current conditions
A storm arises creating waves of doubt into my mental mindstate
Un-deserved words hurled across the room
Hittling the jaggered rocks of a new relationship
Insecurity so steeped in my inner skelton
Fogs my thoughts from seeing things in a better light
Said some things
Now silence is golden as I look at my beholden
Thinking look what I've done
Hoping he know... like a child I can act-up
Time to think straight shake this doubt
Remember who I'm with in the here and now
Appreciate the fact he is a different man
Just knowing that I can see the horizon
A new day a new way...
